Holiday Gift Show - New York City August 2018

I just recently returned from an adventure to the New York Gift Show and thought it would be cool to tell you all a little about the journey!

So the journey began at 4:30 am, a tired yet exhilarating start to the day. We took a little road trip to the Bieber Bus Terminal in Allentown, Pa. But life had other plans when the bus dropped us off in Midtown Manhattan instead of the New Jersey Port Authority like we originally had planned for. Nevertheless, we never would have stumbled into a lovely breakfast at The Harold in Greeley Square, if things had fallen differently. The weather was fairly nice, cloudy with no rain, which is a surprise to due to the weather we've seen so far this summer. The Dominican Day Parade was occurring around the time of the trip which managed to make the already stressful New York traffic, somehow worst. But hey, its New York so its worth the wait.

After an unforgettable bite, we decided we could go for a little shopping. New York has such beautiful jewelry. Even if you weren't actually looking to buy, it still offers an extraordinary time. Then it was finally time to hitch a bus to the Jacob Javits Convention Center for the gift show. The gift show is always a favorite of mine when it comes to dabbling into new potential goodies for the boutique! We ordered in a bunch of different handbags, eye wear, jewelry, and gifts just for the kids.

Once again, you don't even need to buy anything to have a great time going to events like these. The creativity that people and businesses put into there displays are so mesmerizing! Its near IMPOSSIBLE to get bored! And though there were a couple of bumps in the road, overall it was a great experience. No matter how many times I go, the big city will never get old to me. You could never run out of things to do in New York.

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience with me,
